Between waking up at 3:30 a.m. for some and staying up all night for others for the French. While the Germans left at 9:30 a.m. However, it is in the joy and the good mood that the bus sets off on the road for a long journey. Fortunately, the good mood of the Trinasians, make forget the length of the bus trip. Between games of cards and sleep, the convoy gets closer and closer to its final destination. At the arrival, a guard of honour welcomes the French and Hungarian teams. After a warm reunion, all the musicians met for dinner. Then follows the presentation of the members of the team (exceptional) as well as the setting (also exceptional), and especially the famous cellar where all the Trinisasian parties will take place! As much to say that after two years of break, this Trina promises to be unforgettable…

After a good night, the Trinasians had a good breakfast. Everyone was tired but excited to play together again after 2 years. First of all, in the morning, the different musicians could discover their teachers and rehearse for the big concert. In the late afternoon, it was finally time to rehearse by instrument section, woodwinds, brass and strings. The rest of the week will bring a lot of work and practice, but the first day was already a great success. The day was closed with the Hungarian evening, there were several games like a game of pronouncing Hungarian by being the fastest with everyone that scream around you and a choreography battle on Hungarian music. This second episode of Trina exceeded most of the expectations of the Trinasians, which is a good sign for the future!

Trinity Tuttis

The day started with a breakfast and a sectional rehearsal. After a short coffee break, the first joint rehearsal, called Trinity Tuttis, took place in the Weikersheim concert hall. The brass band was joined by the string band for the last rehearsal of the day. The atmosphere at the joint rehearsal was fantastic and, despite the summer heat, the climate of the newly built concert hall contributed greatly to the success of the rehearsal. There is still a lot of work to be done, but we are confident that Friday’s concert will be a wonderful experience. The day ended with games, traditional food and a concert organized by the Størlyd Brass group.

Polka and Practice

Today is the fourth day of this Trina, which started as usual with a breakfast and for some of us difficulties to wake up. The day begins with the last rehearsal by section, because our stay in Weikersheim is not far from being over. In the afternoon, it’s Tutti rehearsals for all the harmony and strings, with finally in the afternoon, a Tutti rehearsal for harmony and strings. Tonight it’s German Party with lots of mini-games and of course Polka.

Final Rehearsal and Casino Night

Here we are already on the fifth day, how time flies… It’s the final day of the adventure for Trinasians in Weikersheim. A big last day is coming. Tutti all day long for everybody, strings and band. This Tutti day is very important to finish the setting up of all the tracks. After this day of Tutti, it’s Casino Party organized by the Germans with compulsory chic clothes to enter. In the basement a casino is set up with poker, blackjack or duel of power 4 and more.

Day Off #1

Today is day 6 of Trina, a well deserved and expected day for some, because it’s an off day. On the program: rest and swimming. Unfortunately, this morning is the departure of Weikersheim… And the bus will go to the lake Brombachsee. In the afternoon it’s free time around the lake, some swim, others play board games, etc. After this restful afternoon, it’s direction Gershtteten and discovery of the families who host us.
